SCAR: The Hero Within

Ever since i was a little boy i used to daydream about heroes. The thought of a hero excited me.
Thus, when i started drawing, thanks to a series of circumstances, my first picture was of a werewolf. Eventually i wanted my art to have life. It was from then on that i fell into the love for comics.
Thus, my first hero that i ever put into a comic would become my most cherished.

So, after many rewrites of the story in my mind, here's my idea:

My 1st Treatment for the Blog

Okay. So in my English class, I was assigned to read a handful of short stories, and one story in particular caught my attention. So much, in fact, that I am more than willing to make a film adaptation of it. The piece is called "Grandfather Death" by the Brothers Grimm, and is totally doable. The script will be as faithful to the source material as possible after being updated to a more modern setting. The entire production is to have an eerie tone set by dark atmospheres and a chilling orchestral soundtrack. As of this moment, it is merely an idea; I have no cast or crew assembled or informed yet, but hopefully this treatment will get off the ground sometime this year. Any suggestions on how to make such a film would be deeply appreciated by myself and Miles of Mikejoproductions.

Animated Short Planned to Start Soon

I Jonathan Hudgens, am no expert when it comes to 3D animation.
But I do know how to do it. 

Thus, for my portfolio, I will be animating a six minute, or under, short.
This Short will be called: Attack of the Living-Dead.

Its a comedy.

Cell phone Commercials Are Just Begging To Be Made Fun Of

I was thinking. What if we made fun of Verizon's cell phone commercials. There would be a big crowd following this guy. The crowd wont leave him alone. He cant even have sex with his girl without the crowd being there.

I don't know.
It seemed like a good idea for a small film.

Little Red Riding Hood: PUC style

My names Jonathan Hudgens.
Plain and simple.
I am a recent addition to CTV.
And.....
If I had to redo the Little Red Ridding-hood story, I would change Little Red riding hood to a guy, and the wolf to a girl. I would also change the destination from grandmas house to Nickel Hall, located on the isolated campus called PUC.
The title would be... hmmmm..... Red Shirt Joe, and the Foxy lady.

Whats the reason for doing this; putting my own big twist on the L.R.R.H.story?
I'm redoing this story because there have already been too many remakes and versions of it,
and I wanted to add mine to the fray.

So, without further adjustments, i give you.....

Late Nights

I know it's late, and I should be wasting my time sleeping or watching a movie. But I feel it's necessary to write something right now because I suddenly have an idea. What about a movie where there are two worlds, one on either side of a mirror, kinda like parallel universes I suppose you could call it, except one is a girl, the other is a guy? I don't know, I'll work on it.

Sex with Michael, Drugs with Me, and Alcohol with Neil

As mentioned in the above post, Michael, Neil, and I are working on an anthology film entitled Sex, Drugs, and Alcohol. The film consists of us dividing the title and doing a segment on each word. I have taken on the content rich subject of drugs.

Since, we are limited to time within the film, I have decided to limit my drugs topic to only one specific drug, Marijuana. My story will follow a character called Eddie Smith, highly based on my inner-self and inner-emotions, and his experiences with the drug as introduced by a girl named Brianne, a mixture of some of my ex-girlfriends and prior love interests (some will stick out more than others if you know me well). I am thinking that the film will follow one weekend, so instead of showing how heavy the use of the drug is, I will show the drug in relationship to Eddie and Brianne and the different reasons they both use it.

I am thinking of using a lot of out-there scenes, awkward moments, and of course my ill humor into this one. I will make my section of this film extremely Edgar by adding every bit of my personal sick, asshole-like humor into it.

I already wrote a short version of the film already for my short scriptwriting class and I am waiting for feedback from my marvelous professor to see if that version of the story is the approach I will be taking for my segment of the film. Well, as soon as I get back my script, I will get back to you.
