Some Sort of Season Finale???

So, I dunno!! I've always felt like life was a more like a TV show instead of a movie (the philosophy behind why we can discuss in a much longer, future post). Recently, with the school year ending and all, everything has felt so Season Finale-ish. As if things are coming to an end, but with so much promise of things to do next year.

Michael and I Have Unlocked A Strange Power

Recently, our future Social Vice President (as in Pacific Union College's) asked me to help him make a commercial for a pool party he was having. I decided to make it look awesome, I should do something like Tim and Eric, Awesome Show, Great Job.

Why There Won't Be Any Drugs this Quarter?

Not literal drugs. Sorry to deceive any crackheads into reading this ( not like you could sit still to do it anyways.) But this is a post to inform that my portion of Sex, Drugs, and Alcohol will not be made anytime soon. We ran into a few speed bumps.

They can make a documentary about me. LOL!

The Fall Of Man Sings

I have this weird way of writing my movies. I play it all out in my head first. Then I add a score to it. I listen to the score for days and days before I start writing. Once I've internalized the emotions from the score, I go to hell and write the screenplay.

Spring Break And Why It Relates

So, the wild rampage of stress from this quarter will finally come to an end.
Since the quarter will be over, I am supposed to get rest.
Not quite.

It's Called Effin Clutch

So, I'm not your usually writer. No sir! I am a new breed of awesome. I like to bitch about my writing until the last minute and out of pure anger, disparity, and sick skills implemented into my brain by a certain 7/8th grade teacher, I killl my writing at the very last minute. I call this phenomenon clutch writing.

An Amazing Saturday Night Without John Travolta

First off, kudos to whoever gets my title reference.
Second, last Saturday (2 days ago) PUC had a talent show.
Surprisingly enough, the talent show didn't reflect the campus at all.
It was exciting, awesome, and I quote Michael: "Sextacular".

Why The Oscars Are Important To Me

How appropriate, the Oscars were tonight.
Kathryn Bigelow, James Cameron's ex-lover, schooled him by picking up the Best Picture award for her brilliant, if I might add, film The Hurt Locker. The win was significant because it showed Avatards that pretty blue people, lame CGI, and things popping out at you will never replace good storytellers.

I believe this means Edgar 1, Hudgens 0

The Fall Of Man-Ten Page Version

Sex, Drugs, and Alcohol is coming along beautifully. I heard from the whispers of the Ozzy-looking mastermind, that he has a concept that he is working on. The other director on the film, Neil Soiland, is currently penning a script. We are all racing to our Spring Break deadline. I'm kinda in the lead due to our assignment class.

As mentioned earlier, I am basing my segment off of a short I wrote for my Short Scriptwriting class. So, just like Michael, I decided to give you guys a sneak at the ten page version of the script. The full version will have more in-depth scenes, more encounters, an alternate opening scene, and I will change the narration. But check out the 10/10 version I gave to Vance.

Good News and Bad News (Geico Joke Not Included)

So, I didn't make it into the Writer's Boot Camp. Like Ozzy (Michael) said, they don't know what they are missing. I am going to enter in Scriptapalooza, which has a larger acceptance rate so I'm working with Vance, my Screenwriting professor, on a rewrite.

On the good side, I got one of my scripts back from Vance. That script, The Fall Of Man, is what I am going to base my story for my segment of Sex, Drugs, and Alcohol on. I am going to try to tone down the story though, so it will be easier for production. I have passed around the short version of Fall of Man (short as in 10 pages) and everyone has liked it so far. I'm still deciding on that pretend sex scene...if I should change it to where they don't have sex like she just takes off her jacket and as if they are or something like that. I DUNNO!

Working hard,

Fake Profile, Fake Photos, Fake Crying... What an Effin Friday

With Drugs and Alcohol suspensions at an all time high this year, PUC has been working non-stop to try to add more to there suspension score. Recently, PUC made a WTF-worthy attempt to catch students who were partying by befriending them with a fake Facebook account. Sadly, PUC's try at moral justice was failed by the very medium they tried to use to catch us, the internet. Before night even fell on Friday, text messages, FB statuses, and numerous posts on the imposter's page herself gave everyone hints that Madison Johnson was a total fake. But I decided to take the road not taken. Why just let PUC try to punk us? Let's punk PUC back. First, I made an album of pictures of wild nights with Madison Johnson. Second, I put up a status inviting everyone to meet up at a party being hosted by our lovely spy Madison Johnson. I decided all this wasn't enough. So much more could be done. I could leave a huge "Why were you stupid?" in the administration's mouth. So, Ozzy and I made a video parodying Chris Crocker's "Leave Britney Alone." The video has been catching some views and I have received views. Though the videos are funny, I have a serious message behind them. We have no reason to take what PUC has been doing recently sitting down. PUC has been crossing over some serious human rights. And I refuse to let them get away with it. So, PUC. You threw the first punch.

Big Mistake,

I Guess Everyone Wasn't That Excited

SA Elections happened last night and boy did today feel like the morning after. Every one of my picks, excluding the C2 and Social Vice, lost! What the jell. (Say in spanish.) I seriously went to sleep believing that Jeremy Lam was Vice President. But I guess having energy isn't enough. Well Jeremy, that representative job is still available. But on a side note, Congrats to Chris David, Divya Joseph, and Aaron Friggin Doyle. O' Doyle really does rule, I guess. Besides those wins (and the other people who had no competition), what the hell PUC?

Heartbroken,

A Pair of Pants and A Competition

Back in my junior year of high school, I wrote a screenplay for a movie entitled The Pants. It wasn't exactly one of my greatest works(it was completely garbage actually). Then out of nowhere it got better, I guess. Soon, I gave up on it. Until out of nowhere this British guy came out of nowhere and just wanted to produce it. So, I got all excited and was waiting to here back from him. When I finally heard back from the a-hole, I found out he was dodging me because he took my baby and disfigured it trying to make his own story out of it. I was like screw that guy and told him I was producing it myself. I ended up just re-writing the script and doing nothing with it. Until now, when Vance emailed me about a screenplay competition yesterday. So, out of the blue, I submitted my script. I've heard it was good but we can only hope. So please cross your fingers, I get into this competition.

Now Injected with Nervousness,
Edgar van Aces
